The Turkey international has struggled for first-team action at Craven Cottage under Martin Jol while a number of injury problems have not helped his bid to become a regular in the starting XI.
Frei spoke out at the end of last month to insist that he wants to stay put and prove himself at Fulham following a frustrating campaign. He is due to hold future talks with Jol at some point in the summer, probably following the upcoming Under-20 World Cup where he will be representing Turkey. In the meantime, Galatasaray have reiterated their interest in taking the youngster, who was born in Austria but raised in Switzerland to a Turkish father and Moroccan mother. "We are interested in Kerim Frei," Aysal told Lig TV. Terim added: "We have been scouting Frei for over a year and remain interested."
