Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon's Argentine defender Marcos Rojo has confirmed that he will play for English Premier League giants Manchester United.
According to the British "Daily Star" newspaper, the 24-year-old said that he is signing for Manchester United over the next few days after the Red Devils finally agreed a deal with Sporting.
"I am at home with the family in Portugal, but getting ready to travel to Manchester tomorrow," he said.
"It was difficult [to leave]; the truth is it was hard during some moments, but everything is being sorted out in the best way, as I wanted, because my idea is to keep improving," Rojo was quoted as saying.
Known for playing as a center-back or left-back, Rojo scored six goals in 28 matches last season at Sporting Lisbon.
