5th Taekwondo crown for Turkish competitor
Servet Tazegul, representing Turkey, wins his fifth European championship in Montreux

Turkish athlete Servet Tazegul on Friday won his fifth European Taekwondo championship in row in the men's 68-kilogram class, officials of the martial art announced.
The Turkish Taekwondo Federation said in a statement that Tazegul clinched the gold medal Friday on the second day of the 22nd European Taekwondo Championship in Montreux, Switzerland.
Nearly 400 athletes from 47 countries are participating in the European Taekwondo Union-organized championship. The federation said Turkey was represented with seven athletes at the four-day event.
Tazegul beat Iraqi-born German athlete Hamza Adnan-Karim 6-5 to win his fifth European Championship, following victories in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014. He also holds two world championship titles, in 2011 and 2015.
The federation added that Turkey's Zeliha Agris also won a bronze medal in the women's 53 kg class.
