La Liga winners Barcelona have extended their Brazilian right-back Daniel Alves' contract until the end of 2016-17 season.
Thirty-two-year-old Alves who won five La Liga and three Champions League titles with Barca, pledged his future to the club by signing a new deal, the Catalan side revealed on Tuesday.
Barca have the option to extend Alves' contract for a further season.
Capped 79 times for Brazil, Alves is a Barcelona veteran, scoring 20 goals and producing 94 assists in 343 appearances.
Barcelona signed him from Sevilla for 35.5 million euros ($40 million) in the summer of 2008.
