UEFA has reportedly ruled that Carlos' coaching license, which he obtained from Peru, is not valid for its members, Turkish media outlets reported on Tuesday. The European body has reportedly noted that the license is only valid for the South American football leagues.
Sivasspor signed a deal with Carlos in a festive atmosphere at the club's stadium in June. The Turkish side is reportedly shocked by the development and is seeking ways to keep the Brazilian. The club has reportedly requested the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) change its regulations to pave the way for Carlos to stay.
