Khimki Moscow defeated Anadolu Efes 86-68 on Wednesday evening in a Turkish Airlines Euroleague's Round 13 match of the regular season.
Their Russian opponent's big fourth-quarter run that eventually helped them end up with a 29-12 quarter score propelled the victory against Anadolu Efes, who recently changed their head coach.
Khimki Moscow's high-scorer was point-guard Alexey Shved, who put up 25 points and dished out 6 assists in the win.
For Anadolu Efes, shooting guard Errick McCollum's 20 points fell short.
Anadolu Efes suffered their 10th loss of the season, while Khimki grabbed their 8th win of the season.
The Turkish club recently reunited with their head coach, Ergin Ataman, as the 51-year-old re-signed with the club on Monday.
Ataman replaced Velimir Perasovic as head coach on a deal through the end of the 2018-19 season. Anadolu Efes relieved Perasovic of his duties on Saturday.
