Dzeko to Galatasaray?

One time Tottenham target and for mer Manchester City and Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko looks to be on the move again after only a year in Italy that didn't go especially well.

After a disappointing spell in Serie A, Roma could offload Edin Dzeko and he could be heading to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

A meeting between Lupi coach Luciano Spalletti and sporting director Walter Sabatini will take place on Tuesday, and they will discuss the future of the former Manchester City striker to see if he remains in the tactician's plans or if he should depart.

Irfan Redzepagic, who is Dzeko's agent, had a meeting on Saturday with Galatasaray sporting director Cenk Ergun about the possibility of bringing the Bosnian international to Turkey, but the Super Lig side might have problems meeting the €13-15 million price tag that Roma have put in place.

Two issues for the Turkish club is that they will not be playing in Europe in 2016/17, so Dzeko might not agree to such a move, and he also has a yearly salary of €4.5m. However, Gala believe he can make an impact in the Super Lig like German striker Mario Gomez has at Besiktas.

If a deal with Galatasaray cannot be completed, the 30-year-old could return to the Premier League and transfer to Liverpool.
