Terim convinded Chivu

One of the greatest footballers of Romania in the last 10 years, Chivu is about to put the Galatasaray jersey on.
Not only news sources from Galatasaray but also from Italy and Romania tells that the transfer is about to happen so soon. An Italian based website footballpres.com published a news that Galatasaray offeret the 31 year old Romanian star a "huge" amount of money for this transfer. Besides, according to the website, two sides have already reached an agreement.
Also, Justin Gafiuc, the chief editor of the Romanian newspaper "Gazeta Sporturlior" who is close friends with both Gheorghe Hagi and Chivu, made a statement to Radyospor about the subject:

"I know that Fatih Terim contacted Gheorghe Hagi about Chivu's transfer. My guess is that Chivu will ask for 3-3,5 million euros from Galatasaray. But on the other hand, there is a high possibility that Chivu renews his contract with Inter."
Becali, Romania's one of the most famous footballer manager, talked to a football TV programme via phone about the transfer too:
"He is a fantastic player. Chivu is kind of a quality player who can fill Roberto Carlos's shoes in Real Madrid. Inter did not recognise his value. He was the best defender in the world four years ago."
