Proceedings opened against Juventus footballer for ‘improper conduct’ after scoring goal against Atletico Madrid, UEFA says

UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against superstar Cristiano Ronaldo for his celebration after one of the three goals he scored during Juventus' 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid last week in the Champions League.
"Disciplinary proceedings have been opened following the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match between Juventus Football Club and Club Atletico de Madrid, played on 12 March in Italy," UEFA said in a statement on Monday.
"Charges against Juventus Football Club: Improper conduct of player Cristiano Ronaldo," UEFA said.
The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body will deal with this case on Thursday.
Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in the return leg as Juventus won 3-0 after losing 2-0 against Atletico Madrid in the first leg.
Juventus will face Dutch side Ajax in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals on April 10-16.
