That's it!

Turkey has thought a tough lesson to Portugal with the two goals of Umut Bulut and the own goal of Pepe.

After missing the opportunity to participate in Euro 2012 under Guus Hiddink, Turkey was born from their ashes with the new coach Abdullah Avcı.
Winning 2 out of 3 friendly matches, Turkey also beat Portugal in their own Stadium. One of the favourites in Euro 2012, Portugal and the fired up crows was shocked after the result.
Starting the game restrained, Turkey played with concentration even though Portugal kept coming minute after minute. Having scored the first goal with Umut Bulut, fighters of red and white didn't lose their discipline and focus.
At 52, Umut Bulut scored the secon one showing that Turkey also deserved to participate in Euro 2012. Nani put the only goal for Portugal at 57 but that didn't stop the Turks.
Pressing and smelling the opportunities a few times, Turkeys's third and the last one came with Pepe's own goal at 88.
Also, this was the first victory for Turkey against Portugal since their last in 1955 which was also ended 3-1 for Turkey.
