Portugal said goodbye to their fans with a 1-3 defeat against Turkey at the Estadio da Luz, in Lisbon.

Nani was the author of the only goal for Portugal at the 56th minute. Ronaldo missed a penalty on the 66th minute. Turkey took advantage of their opportunities with goals from Bulut in the 37th and 51st minute. The last goal was from Pepe, an own goal, at the 88th minute.

"We wanted to win this game to thank all the support from the fans, but unfortunately it was not possible. I think we made a good showing despite the negative result. We were not able to score in the game but we had opportunities and on the other hand Turkey has had the luck of the game and managed to score almost every time they created danger, " said the goalkeeper Eduardo.

Eduardo also left a message to supporters:

"I ask the fans, after this negative result, to continue to believe and support the national team because the next game is what is important and we are ready to face Germany," concluded.
