Last night's game between Bursaspor and Konyaspor brought a win for the champions with a single goal scored by Sercan.
With a total of 16 goals scored in the first week of the league, four games were won by the hosts, while three visiting teams saw successes in their own right. The win with the highest number of goals went to Fenerbahçe, who beat Medical Park Antalyaspor by 4-0 despite a penalization prohibiting spectators.
Trabzonspor impressed in the capital against Ankaragücü with two goals scored by Teofilo.
Out of the 'big four', only Galatasaray was unable to secure a victory against hosts Sivasspor. Despite starting off with a 0-1 lead, they left the field 2-1 behind.
