"Pereira was unstable"

Diego Ribas said that Vitor Pereira was full of contradictions.

Diego Ribas talked to Globo TV in his country, Brazil. He spoke about his plans in his new team Flamengo and told the story of his transfer. Diego, who said his first goal is to win next game everytime, answered the questions about Fenerbahçe in his 50 minutes interview.

"Turkey is a complicated place. First person I spoke was club's president. He told me that he wants me in his team. I did not even spoke to team's coach (Ersun Yanal). When I went to İstanbul to sign a contract, I knew I wasn't a part of his plan."

"Then the coach changed (İsmail Kartal). He had a different relationship with players. We barely spoke. Then a Portugese coach (Vitor Pereira) came. He had a very big ego. But he was full of contradictions. He told that he liked me very much and wanted to design his plan around me. And then he said president did not want me in the team. When I went to club at the end of the season to practice, they told me 'We don't want you here, you can't attend to practice.' "

Couldn't say no

Diego told that he planned his return to Brazil two years ago but Fenerbahçe's offer was 'crazy' and he couldn't say no to that: He said he did not regret Fenerbahçe move because he had new experiences. Fenerbahçe paid 5 million € signature fee and 3,5 million € salary per year to Brazillian number 10.
