Roster crisis for Champions League

Beşiktaş coach Şenol Güneş added 13 new players to his roster but he is going to have a hard time to determine final roster for Champions League.

Beşiktaş has a 26 player roster for 2016/17 season and they can't use all of them in Champions League. According to UEFA's restrictions, Black Eagles can only add 23 players to their Champions League list. Rules say that your squad has to include 4 players that came from your youth academy and 4 domestic players.

5 players are out

Güneş will add two young players from youth team alongside Atınç and Necip to reach UEFA's youth academy quota. Gökhan Gönül, Caner Erkin, Tolga Zengin and Utku Yuvakuran will be Beşiktaş' domestic players in Champions League. Other 15 players will be chosen from 20 men list they have.

Veli Kavlak and Oğuzhan is already out

Veli Kavlak, who is struggling with injuries, and Oğuzhan Aydoğan, who signed as an investment for the future, are not going to be in Beşiktaş' Champions League roster. It's learned that Aras Özbiliz and Kerim Frei are favourites to left out in wind. Last name to stay out will give a hard time to Şenol Güneş.
