Leader Fenerbahce to face CSKA Moscow

In basketball action, the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season's leader Fenerbahce Beko will face runner-up Russia's CSKA Moscow on Thursday night.

In Moscow, Fenerbahce are aiming to cement their top position for the regular season as their three matches are remaining in the league.

The leader Fenerbahce Beko are currently atop the league at 23-4 while CSKA Moscow are at second place with 21 wins, 6 losses.

Fenerbahce Beko have not lost any matches at home in the EuroLeague this season.

The five teams -- Fenerbahce Beko, Real Madrid, CSKA Moscow, Anadolu Efes and Barcelona Lassa -- have all ensured playoff spots.

Sixteen teams are competing in the league -- four Spanish, three Turkish, two Russian, and two Greek teams, and one team each from Germany, Italy, Israel, Lithuania, and Montenegro.

Turkey is represented by Anadolu Efes, Fenerbahce Beko, and Darussafaka Tekfen.

The regular season is being played from Oct. 11, 2018 to April 5, 2019, with the top eight advancing to the playoffs to be played April 16-30.

Winners will advance to the Final Four on May 17-19 at Fernando Buesa Arena in the Spanish city of Vitoria-Gasteiz in single-elimination matchups.
