Turkey’s National team managed to successfully beat Romania by 2-0 last night under new technical director Guus Hiddink’s lead, who spent the night in the substitute player box.
Emre scored the first goal for Turkey from a penalty shot and Arda sealed the deal in the 86th minute, securing the first win for Turkey against Romania since the year 1965.
Last night's game worked to lift Turkey's morale prior to the upcoming Euro-2012 qualifiers. Hiddink has surprised all and given hope for the games against Kazakhstan and Belgium scheduled for September.
