Lions knocked out of Champions League

The defeat against Anderlecht in Brussels eliminated Galatasaray from the Champions League's Group D in the fifth matchday of the tournament.
Galatasaray, now at the bottom of their group, are mathematically unable to proceed in the Europa League.

With seven minutes to go, Selcuk Inan was sent off after arguing with the referee. Galatasaray had to complete the game with ten men.
In the 86th minute, Mbemba tapped the ball deflected by the Turkish side's goalkeeper and Anderlecht doubled the gap to 2-0. He scored both goals of the game.
