John Obi Mikel is still high on Besiktas' wanted list. The Turks had a bid rejected for the midfielder in the summer but intend to test Chelsea's resolve with another offer in January.
Mikel, 28 has dropped down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and the club may be ready to talk. "We could enter the race again over the winter break," said Besiktas president Fikret Oman.
