Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua have revealed that they will sign former Besiktas strikerDemba Ba.
The Chinese side officially announced Saturday an agreement with the Turkish Spor Toto Super League team about the Senegalese hitman's transfer.
According to a Shanghai Shenhua statement, 30-year-old Ba will be in China on Sunday for a medical check-up and contract signing. Neither the transfer fee nor the player's annual salary has been disclosed.
Ba's career has seen him play for English Premier League sides West Ham, Newcastle United and Chelsea, among others.
The Senegalese international scored 27 goals in 44 matches for Besiktas.
