Beşiktaş to swoop for Younes Kaboul

Tottenham Hotspur defender Younes Kaboul is believed to be a target of Turkish giants Beşiktaş.

The Frenchman is fighting to earn a new contract at White Hart Lane after a succession of injuries have restricted him to seven Premier League appearance since August 2012.

His current deal expires at the end of the season, and with uncertainty over the Spurs managerial hotseat, it is unclear as to whether Kaboul will be kept on or will make way for a new summer arrival.
Should he leave Tottenham, where he has had two spells, having left to sign for Portsmouth in 2008 before rejoining in 2010, The Mirror claims that Beşiktaş will offer him a move to the Super Lig.
The Istanbul outfit are in the market for a high-profile centre-back, but missed out on departing Manchester United skipper Nemanja Vidic, who snubbed their £120,000-per-week deal to join Inter Milan.
