Manchester United cruised past their rivals Manchester City 4-2 in a derby match at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Visitors Manchester City were off to a flyer in the 8th minute when Argentine star forward Sergio Aguero easily finished in the six-yard box: 1-0.
But Manchester United quickly jumped back with the equalizer in 14'. Red Devils winger Ashley Young found the net with a close range tap: 1-1.
In the 27th minute, Manchester United came back after their Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini's header: 2-1, with the cross coming from Young.
Manchester United increased the gap to two when Spanish attacking midfielder Juan Mata finished in the area in the 67th minute: 3-1.
Red Devils defender Chris Smalling made it four with a header in 72'. Young crossed from a free kick.
Near the end of the game, Manchester City narrowed the gap to two when Aguero put the ball into the net: 2-4.
Ending their ill-fate against rivals Manchester City, victorious side Manchester United are in third place with 65 points. Man City are in the fourth spot with 61 points in the league table.
