Turkish motorcyclist Kenan Sofuoglu was crowned 2016 World Supersport Champion, breaking his own record to win his fifth world title.
"I dedicate it to my country, to Turkey," Sofuoglu told Anadolu Agency.
The 32-year old had won the first two titles with Hannspree Ten Kate Honda, in 2007 and 2010. He later became a Kawasaki rider in 2012 and was won his third title the same year. He won a fourth championship in 2015.
Sofuoglu is the only racer to triumph five times in the Supersport World Championship.
